schrit_tmacher Festival 2026 opens with “INK”, a mesmerizing work by choreographer Huang Yi Studio and audiovisual artist Ryoichi Kurokawa, inspired by the calligraphy of Tong Yang-Tze. Blending dance, robotics and visual art, tradition meets future in breathtaking harmony. Dancers move between delicate signs, shifting from explosive energy to gentle fluidity. A robot traces their movements, which Kurokawa transforms into glowing patterns and holographic projections. Each gesture becomes a living painting. “INK” is a stunning dialogue between analogue and digital and human and machine. An unforgettable opening performance.
