Contact improvisation is a contemporary dance form based on non-verbal communication. Dancers from ContactImpro Aachen show how dance can develop in different constellations at the moment of encounter in an improvised performance to a sound-word installation. The performance culminates in a public contact improvisation jam with live music. This creates a shared space for encounter – including with the audience, who are invited to become part of the action by watching attentively or joining in the dancing.
