At the festival’s invitation, Poernima Dance Company presents a day of discovery and exchange inspired by Akram Khan’s performance. The programme includes an interactive workshop in which Poernima Gobardhan invites dancers of all styles and levels to explore “Bharata Natyam” – the classical Indian dance form with a rich diasporic history in the Netherlands – through a physical approach. The focus is not on form, but on experience.
